Whitney joined The Preiss Company in 2022 and serves as the Senior Vice President of Innovation and Technology. She is responsible for the development of revenue-generating technology initiatives serving the TPCO portfolio and broader multifamily markets. Whitney has an innate and recognized passion for driving innovative technology—paired with operational best practices—to maximize performance. Her customer-first leadership approach delivers market-specific solutions focused on increasing revenue, managing risk, and decreasing expense through technology.
She has over 15 years of professional experience in prop-tech and property management and is a founding board member of the W. Collective, a women-in-leadership network for the student housing industry.
As Vice President of Product Strategy with over 10 years of experience in the industry, Ed has demonstrated a strong aptitude for leveraging technology to drive organizational success. He brings a passion for sports, gaming, and outdoor activities to his work and the valuable skills and discipline honed as an Eagle Scout.
Ed’s career with The Preiss Company began in 2012 as a leasing agent, where he quickly distinguished himself as a driven and results-oriented professional. Through a combination of hard work, strategic thinking, and a commitment to excellence, he steadily progressed through the ranks, taking on roles of increasing responsibility and scope.
Today, as Vice President of Product Strategy, Ed plays a critical role in shaping the company’s technology strategy and driving innovation across the organization. From identifying emerging trends and technologies to overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, He is dedicated to ensuring that The Preiss Company remains at the forefront of the industry.
With a deep understanding of the complex interplay between business needs, user experience, and technical requirements, Ed is able to bridge the gap between varying stakeholders, helping to align goals and achieve success. Whether working with executive leadership or front-line staff, he is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation that supports growth and drives results.
In addition to his work with The Preiss Company, Ed is an active community member, volunteering his time and expertise to various charitable organizations. Ed is committed to ongoing learning and professional development to stay at the forefront of his field.
Adam currently serves as the Director of Information Security, managing Google Workspace environment, VOIP phone systems, Office networks, and other critical infrastructure. With over 16 years of experience in the IT industry, he has a wealth of knowledge in managing office networks, corporate servers, and other operational infrastructure. His expertise includes deploying and maintaining VOIP phone systems, Ubiquiti networks, Microsoft servers, and property management software. His passion for technology and commitment to quality have enabled me to excel in his role and deliver exceptional results for clients.
Javier Ginestra is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in student housing and a passion for technology, gaming, and Mixed Martial Arts. With nearly two decades of experience in the student housing industry, he has honed his skills in creating safe and vibrant living communities for students. Since 2003, Javier has been dedicated to improving the student living experience, consistently achieving high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction.
Javier's interests extend beyond student housing. He is an avid gamer, finding inspiration in the strategic thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork that gaming fosters. His commitment to discipline and personal growth led him to the world of Mixed Martial Arts, where he has honed skills in focus, resilience, and goal-setting. These qualities have proven invaluable in both his personal and professional life.
With a degree in Computer Science and Math, Javier has a strong foundation in technology and analytical thinking. He is enthusiastic about leveraging his technical expertise to enhance the student housing industry through technology-driven innovation and meet the ever-evolving needs of students and the communities they inhabit.
Bri joined The Preiss Company in 2022 and joined the IRIS team in 2024. With over 9 years of dedicated experience in student housing, Bri brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a Business Development Representative.
Bri's journey in the housing sector began as a Community Assistant in college, where she quickly demonstrated her passion and commitment to the industry. Through her determination and hard work, she progressively moved up the ranks, taking on various positions and leadership roles on-site. These experiences not only honed her skills but also provided her with invaluable insights into the dynamics of the industry.
Having been deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of student housing properties, Bri possesses a keen understanding of what it takes for both residents and staff to thrive. Her hands-on experience has equipped her with the ability to identify the unique needs of each property and tailor solutions for their success.
Bri is a proud alumna of Texas Tech University. She is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with clients and partners, driving growth, and delivering exceptional results for IRIS Technologies.
Hilal is an experienced IT support specialist with a passion for helping people solve their technology problems. With 4+ years of experience in the industry, he has developed a wide range of skills in troubleshooting, networking, hardware and software maintenance, and customer service. He is committed to providing excellent IT support to staff, ensuring that their technology is always running smoothly and efficiently. Whether it’s setting up a new computer, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, or resolving software problems.
John currently serves as a Technical Support Specialist on the IT Support Team providing technical support for our 600 team members across 66 properties in 12 states. John has over 20 years of IT customer support, training, and technology management services experience. John approaches each support contact with knowledge, kindness and compassion, focused on promoting a healthy support team experience for both our internal and external customers. John attended Brevard College on an Athletic Scholarship and was an All State athlete. Following college and before transcending into the technology industry, John spent 10 years in club management where he developed a unique talent of customer service engagement, support and training skills.
